Sodalite is a royal blue stone with white veining. It is a hard, yet fragile stone that is named after its sodium content. It is somewhat similar to lapis though it rarely contains pyrite and its veining sets it apart.
As a healing stone, it has been known since antiquity as the "Stone of Artists" because it is believed to be able to promote inspiration and creativity while also providing protection. Enhances communication and expression. Cuts through density and illusion bringing clarity and truth. Calms and clears the mind allowing it to become logical and rational, eliminating mental confusion.
Bringing together logic and intuition, and opening spiritual perception - this stone stimulates the third eye chakra, which can deepen meditation. If you have a tenancy to have panic attacks, this is a good stone for you. It can really transform defensive and sensitive personalities, releasing deep fears/phobias and guilt mechanisms that hold you back from being your true self. It's an immune booster, cleanses the lymphatic systems, balances metabolisms and combats radiation.
A great gem to store with your tarot or oracle cards and a MUST for occult practices. Place in your plants to encourage growth as well (not an excuse to suddenly ignore your plants, though LOL).

Ethically Sourced: It was very important in the crystal and gemstone sourcing that it was purchased only from mining suppliers that had the correct certificates that established their operations as safe and environmentally sound. My wholesaler is adamant on ensuring the crystals are fair-trade, where income is being used to support a diverse group of small manufactures and families. Most of the semi-precious stones and crystals come from family owned mines that are passed down from generations (like a family farm here in Canada).
I understand it can be difficult to feel a stone's energy when shopping online. When selecting stones for your order, I personally select the stones with intention for you based on the stock available.
There can be variance in the stone's colouring and shape, as is the world of stone, gems and crystals are non-refundable. No two pieces are alike. Each one will slightly vary in size, shape and colour.
